Dips : Banana Mango Hot Salsa
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 2 teaspoons TABASCO® brand Habanero Sauce
- 3 bananas, peeled and diced
- 1 mango, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped red bell pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- Salt to taste
Combine lime juice and brown sugar in a small bowl and stir until sugar dissolves; add olive oil and TABASCO® Habanero Sauce and mix well. Pour over diced bananas and toss gently until well coated. Add remaining ingredients and mix gently. Serve with pork, poultry, fish or seafood, or spoon over a block of cream cheese and serve with crackers.
Makes 2 cups.
