- 1 baguette French bread, cut into 1-inch slices
- 1 cup diced plum tomatoes, drained of excess juice
- 2 to 3 green onions, chopped
- 1 (4-ounce) package feta cheese, crumbled
- 1/4 cup chopped black olives
- 1/8 cup finely chopped fresh basil
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce
- Salt to taste
Preheat broiler. Place bread slices on broiling pan and broil until lightly toasted on both sides. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, gently combine remaining ingredients until well blended; mound mixture generously on bread. Arrange on a platter and garnish with a sprig of basil. Serve immediately.
Makes 20 to 24 pieces.
